Welcome to The Frontroom.
This licensed facility has been part of the capitals entertainment scene for many years and is now being made available to Wellington again after a few quiet years. Formerly known as James Cabaret it has hosted many top acts over the years and many fond memories for generations of Wellingtonians.
The Frontroom is a musician’s room with wonderful acoustics, at ground level and the mezzanine floor and provides an up close and personal feeling for live entertainment.
The Frontroom has many varied uses from live bands, weddings, age parties etc. It also has a commercial kitchen so caterers can host their functions as well.
Capacity for standing or seated events is very good and provides Wellington with a facility bigger than most currently available.

John Butler Trio _ the Frontroom.
It’s a sell out on Saturday and this outstanding group has had people queuing up to be there, interest has been amazing. Quality gig in a great acoustic room will make this night one to remember. We are proud that John Butler Trio has chosen the Frontroom.

Brown Hill are stars on the rise and after capacity crowds at smaller venues they want to
give their fans an awesome experience and that’s why they are back at The Frontroom,
where they staged their performance when with King Fiji. These guys are so talented and
dedicated. Gotta hear them as they are on their way to very big things.

Fat Freddy’s are back.
One of NZ’s favorites are back in the capital to perform _ The Frontroom.
It’s been a couple of years and Freddy’s have been worldwide since they played The
Frontroom but they are back, and because of quality sound and visual impact it’s going to be
SENSATIONAL. Sure to be a sell out and deserved as these guys are at the top of their
game. One night only so don’t be slow. A special night it will be and an experience with
Freddy’s shouldn’t be missed.
